Davide Rossi did his first steps on the bike at the age of 7 years. With 14 the young Italian competed in his first motocross race and ended up on 2nd place in the championship. The Freestyle ramps came into his life in 2012 and it infected him right away. He had to move from home and  find a region, where he could train and learn Freestyle Motocross. It wasn’t easy because he was 18 years old and needed to change his life completely.

Three years later Davide did his first long backflip to dirt and this was his step into the international FMX scene. He became his first invitation to the NIGHT of the JUMPs series. 2017 he was invited to the qualifiers of the Nitro world game in California, ending up with a 4th place. In 2018 Davide Rossi was the first and only Italian rider to do a frontflip and presented it at the Supercross in Torino.

Among his great successes, Davide counts several podium places in whip contests in the NIGHT of the JUMPs series. He won the best trick at the Alvaro Invitationals and achieved 4th place in the TV show “Italy got Talent”. He rode in almost all series and events in Europe such as NIGHT of the JUMPs, FMX Gladiator Games, Masters of Dirt, Night of Freestyle or Go Big Or Go Home by Luc Ackermann and shows such as BMW Motorrad Days or Red Bull Formula Nürburgring. But Davide Rossi celebrated his greatest success in 2024, when he took second place in the overall ranking of the World Tour Championship with several podium finishes at the NIGHT of the JUMPs events.

After the Covid pandemic there was revolution in the freestyle environment in Italy. Davide Rossi decided to break away from the Daboot Team and founded the “riotriders” together with a friend to create a more open vision to the sport and results. Since that most important events on the national level in Italy are organized by “riotriders” and it’s year by year.
